Tim and TiffanySomething special about a Christmas performance is: it gets to have nifty lights.

Such is the case for the Charleston Christmas Special, a notable annual source of holiday entertainment in Charleston.

Each two-and-a-half to four-minute-long song requires two to four hours to program the lights, and that job is done by Summerville resident Adam Stover. Stover is gearing toward the Christmas Special’s first show of the season on Dec. 5.

This is a big year for the Charleston Christmas Special, as this year marks the show’s 20th anniversary.
